Properties and Prints

This week we have been testing Euler's formula.
V - E + F = 2

We finished the print making we have been doing with Mrs Firth. It is based on Inuit bird drawings and prints. We used polystyrene for our prints but Inuit prints are traditionally made on stone.

It was great fun making the prints and the results are impressive!

  4. The Inuit prints were very fun to make. My favourite stage of the process was doing the off-print because after you had done that they had two differnent colours on the lines of the drawing, so it looked really nice.

  9. I really enjoyed making the Inuit prints, it was very different from things that we'd usually do. The prints looked really nice and I liked rolling on the ink the most.

  12. I really enjoyed doing the Inuit prints. It was a little nervewracking when I revealed the print because I didnt know if it was going to be a good print or a really really bad one! I liked rolling the ink all over the polystyrene because i am very messy! I would love to do it again.

  18. The skeleton polydrons where very herd to make because they fall to bits with the slightest pressure.

  19. The skeleton polydrons were very fun to make but when we made the 3d shapes quite complex then it was hard to count the vertices and corners and the edges too.
